Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for patients with neurological disorders, developmental delays, and stroke recovery. Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions to improve speech clarity, language skills, and swallowing function. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care. Document progress and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements. Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for improving communication and swallowing outside of therapy sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (Florida)
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
