Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. Under physician direction, provides direct patient treatment based on an established plan of care; screens residents and develops appropriate care plans; plans and conducts rehabilitative treatments to restore communicative efficiency; administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests; instructs residents, families, and caregivers on practicing new skills; completes required forms and documents in accordance with policy and regulations; maintains patient records; devises tools and treatments tailored to patient needs. Travel as needed to perform duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Masters, or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology
- State license as a speech pathologist required.
- Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards
