Job Summary
Provide Speech-Language Pathology therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Conduct screenings and evaluations, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans of care, manage discharge planning, and handle case management responsibilities. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology therapy and infection control procedures. Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills by directing and overseeing speech therapy programs. Maintain a valid state license and ensure compliance with billing and treatment guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Understands various relevant payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines
