Job Summary
Provide Speech-Language Pathology therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Deliver quality patient care including screening and evaluation, developing initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing skills by providing, directing, and/or overseeing speech therapy. Build a strong SLP therapy program and enhance clinical expertise through interaction with staff and continuing education. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding speech-language pathology therapy and infection control procedures. Maintain a valid state license and proficiency in clinical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
Desired Qualifications
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
