Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology therapy and related services for patients while screening, evaluating, and developing treatment and discharge plans. Direct and supervise Rehab techs during group and individual treatment, optimize communication and swallowing skills, and integrate therapy into the interdisciplinary team. Maintain accurate billing and documentation, contribute to case management and family conferences, and adhere to state and federal regulations regarding patient rights, privacy, and infection control. This role requires patient lifting of up to 30 pounds, valid state licensure, and the ability to travel between facilities and work varying shifts including weekends and holidays. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds of dead weight alone
- Must be able to travel between facilities during scheduled hours
- Must be able to work varying hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive work environment
