Job Summary
Provide Speech-Language Pathology therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Conduct screenings and evaluations, develop initial and ongoing treatment plans, and manage discharge plans and case management responsibilities. Optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing skills by directing and overseeing speech therapy. Build a strong therapy program, ensure compliance with infection control and environmental safety protocols, and adhere to state and federal regulations. Maintain valid state licensure and utilize continuing education to enhance clinical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic Internet navigation skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
