Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one 60-minute treatment sessions for adults with neurological injuries, focusing on functional rehabilitation. Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and regularly re-assess their effectiveness while attending staffing meetings and family conferences. Execute discharge evaluations to recommend home safety measures and provide referral resources. Communicate patient needs and progress to the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and families. Maintain a PRN schedule of 2-3 days per week with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, ensuring clinical autonomy in an outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
- PRN position (ideally 2-3 days/week)
- No Evenings, Weekends, or Holidays
- Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
- Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
