Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist responsible for planning, directing, and conducting rehabilitative speech and language therapy in a busy clinical department. Administer, score, and interpret specialized hearing and speech tests; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and modify programs as needed; maintain required records; participate in meetings and professional development. Ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology, possesses state licensure/certification/registration in good standing (or ability to obtain), and CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start). Requires strong communication and teamwork, professionalism, confidentiality, and proficient computer skills (MS Office).
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Required state licensure/certification/registration in good standing or ability to obtain
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout shift
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Maintain confidentiality
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
