Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Provides comprehensive SLP services including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, communicating findings and goals to patient and family, implementing evidence-based treatment protocols, coordinating with healthcare professionals, modifying plans as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and billing, managing time and productivity, and mentoring/serving as a clinical instructor to students. Requires Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 1-2 years medical setting experience, Maryland/DC/VA licensure, and ASHA CCC.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in MD, DC, or VA
- ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
