Speech Language Pathologist - PRN Inpatient Adult at MedStar GeorgetownUniversity Hospital

Provide direct speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current level of functioning, setting appropriate goals, and making discharge recommendations. Deliver direct SLP treatments according to standards of practice, including patient and family education, progression of treatment plans, and implementation of therapeutic interventions. Utilize appropriate documentation forms adhering to PM&R standards, coordinate personal schedule relative to patient treatment demands, and maintain department equipment and supplies. Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and other health care team members regarding patient treatment, progress, and effective discharge planning. Maintain CEUs per state requirements and adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. This PRN role offers a full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for patients with speech-language and/or swallowing disorders at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
