Job Summary
Conduct full range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for patients with speech-language and swallowing disorders. Perform direct evaluations, treatments, and re-evaluations to set goals, implement therapeutic interventions, and recommend discharge. Collaborate with physicians, families, and the health care team regarding patient progress and effective discharge planning. Maintain proper documentation, equipment, and CEUs while adhering to all state and Joint Commission regulations. This PRN role offers a salary of $60/hour with a Bachelor's degree and DC licensure required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SP-L - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years related clinical practice experience in an acute care or rehabilitation facility preferred
