Job Summary
Per Diem (PRN) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed to join an in-house team serving residents with person-centered care. Responsibilities include evaluating swallowing or cognitive deficits, assisting residents to improve cognition or swallowing, educating residents and caregivers, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with AAC options, providing training to clients and families, coordinating with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES), maintaining compliant documentation and billing records, ensuring resident safety, and collaborating with Restorative Nursing and other staff. SLP skills required include SNF/long-term care experience preferred, current knowledge of treatment practices, familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System, ability to manage diverse patient personalities, and active Texas license with ASHA certification. Required Qualifications
- Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certification
- In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
