Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist, PRN, will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based evaluation and therapy techniques for geriatric residents aged 55 and older in the PACE setting. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans to restore, maintain, or prevent decline in residents' function, documenting services, participating in treatment teams, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and professional standards. Location: Fayetteville, AR. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Arkansas licensure or eligibility, CCC or eligibility pending CFY, and geriatric clinical experience. Preferred qualifications include FEES, LSVT-LOUD, and Vital-stim certifications. The role supports an interdisciplinary approach within UAMS ICE | MUSL NWA OP PT Clinic and involves activities such as evaluating patients, writing reports, and maintaining appropriate documentation. Requires ability to bend, stand, walk, sight, hearing, driving, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Salary is commensurate with education and experience; sponsorship is not available. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology
- Licensed as a speech-language pathologist in Arkansas or eligible to apply and obtain license within one month of hire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligible pending Clinical Fellowship
- Clinical experience with geriatric population
