Job Summary
Assess and diagnose communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, then conduct exercises and interventions to improve patient communication abilities. Educate patients and families on effective strategies and home care techniques while monitoring progress to adjust therapy as needed. Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive support across Elim Wellspring, Princeton, and Milaca Elim Meadows locations. Requires current CCC-SLP certification, MN Speech Therapist License, and strong knowledge of home health regulations. On-call position with competitive hourly pay and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- current CCC-SLP certification
- graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program
- bachelor's degree
- current accredited MN Speech Therapist License
- strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to Home Health care
- capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
