Job Summary
Diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across all age groups. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop and modify treatment and discharge plans, and administer tailored speech-language pathology therapies. Design rehabilitative programs addressing verbal and written language, voice, articulation, fluency, swallowing, and cognition. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on procedures for continuation at home. Collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in patient care conferences to optimize outcomes for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred at hire, required within one year
- BLS Basic Life Support preferred at hire for BSMH, required within 30 days for RSFH
- Demonstrates ability to evaluate patient condition and progress; effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team
