Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist to work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, focusing on language, articulation, fluency, and voice to support educational success. Responsibilities include reviewing referrals, coordinating with teachers and parents, coordinating evaluations and ARD/IEP processes, developing and implementing therapy goals, administering and interpreting evaluation instruments, determining eligibility for speech/language services, documenting progress, collaborating with teachers for classroom support, maintaining required records, and adhering to ASHA ethics and district policies. Requires Master’s Degree, ASHA Certification, and Texas licensure; experience in public school settings and knowledge of IEPs/ARD processes preferred. Travel within district and occasional statewide travel may be required; office-based role at Plano ISD facilities.
