Job Summary

Organize the school-based speech-language program by scheduling interventions and managing facilities, materials, and assistive technology. Conduct screenings, administer formal and informal assessments, and present data to IEP teams to help students meet educational goals. Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, and other personnel while supervising interns and volunteers. Serve on curriculum and program development committees to address local school goals. Maintain program records and prepare periodic reports in adherence to North Carolina regulations and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • Eligible for NC Licensure
  • Eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (SEY/CFY available)
  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Some positions assigned to this class may require light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
