Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem

Job Summary
Assess and treat patients referred for speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders across all ages, from neonates to geriatric individuals. Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and families to ensure quality care while adhering to the ASHA Code of Ethics. Provide assessment and treatment for adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and communication-cognitive impairments within an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Maintain proficiency on basic computer systems for documentation and charging. Requires a Master's degree, current Maryland license, and CPR certification. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland License to practice Speech pathology
- CPR certified
- Two years experience in acute care or rehabilitation setting with an emphasis on adult neurogenic disorders, dysphagia, and communication-cognitive impairments
- Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics
- Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays

- Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems utilized for documentation, scheduling and charging systems
