Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatrics-Acute Care) on a Per Diem basis. Responsibilities include evaluations, program planning and treatment for pediatric patients; documentation of services; education for patients, families, hospital staff, and students; ensuring patients reach maximum potential through high-quality care; contribute to medical management and professional growth within Johns Hopkins Health System. Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure as an SLP, CPR certification, and completed Clinical Fellowship; infant feeding/swallowing experience required, acute care experience preferred; CCC and ASHA certification are preferred. Shift: Per Diem; on-site at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Equal Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Successful completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
- Infant feeding/swallowing experience required
- Acute care experience preferred
