Job Summary
Conduct speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet resident needs across the community continuum of care. Implement personal care plans focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and routines while providing comfort and companionship. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure resident needs are addressed throughout their care journey. Adhere to Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies regarding care provision, documentation, billing, and resident rights. Maintain current CPR certification and a valid state license. This role supports residents at Brooksby Village, a 90-acre continuing care retirement community in Peabody, Massachusetts, offering a holistic approach to physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR Certification
- Current valid state license (for state in which the community provides service) in occupational therapy Assistant, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years' experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred
