Job Summary
Pediatric outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role split between 50% preschool-based group therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and 50% outpatient pediatric therapy. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, cognition, and related disorders; delivering preschool-based group therapy within a structured classroom; co-treating with another SLP; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; developing individualized treatment plans; caregiver education; documenting in Epic; and supervising graduate students. Requires collaboration across pediatric providers, audiology, and other therapy disciplines; emphasis on early communication development and family-centered care. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required at time of hire
- Current Tennessee SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of one (1) year of post-Master’s pediatric clinical experience in a school, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting
- Hands-on experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
