Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment across various settings. Perform specific assessments, document results, and explain findings to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Manage discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient care activities and charges. Demonstrate effective time management to meet productivity expectations and maintain an accurate schedule. Take initiative in pursuing continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
