Job Summary
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders; develop individualized treatment plans; collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapy teams, residents, and families; conduct dysphagia assessments and interventions; educate residents, caregivers, and staff on treatment strategies; maintain accurate documentation; participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities. The role involves strong clinical skills in dysphagia management and cognitive/communication rehabilitation, with opportunities in both Full-Time and Part-Time capacities within a Lakeport, CA post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility to obtain
