Job Summary
Autonomous role delivering speech therapy treatment in outpatient settings. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and monitoring treatment plans, assessing progress toward goals, ensuring access to care and high-quality patient experience, and participating in program development to meet community needs. Requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure or eligibility for licensure, BLS, and ASHA Certification within 2 years of hire; strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills; ability to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current speech pathologist license in the state of practice OR eligibility for licensure by examination OR reciprocity from another state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Certification of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required within 2 years of hire
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) including proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications; effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to fluctuating schedules
