Job Summary
Assess, treat, and document care for outpatients with voice, upper airway, swallowing, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provide therapeutic interventions for conditions including dysphonia, vocal fold pathology, chronic cough, and paradoxical vocal fold motion. Collaborate closely with laryngologists, otolaryngologists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment strategies, and home exercise programs. Maintain current knowledge of best practices in voice and laryngology while contributing to quality improvement initiatives for the Voice & Laryngology program.
