Job Summary
Conduct compassionate speech therapy and evidence-based care for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to rebuild their communication and cognitive abilities. Deliver daily diagnostic imaging coverage and support individuals in regaining independence through dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorder management. Work as a per diem clinician on an as-needed basis with hours assigned by the manager at UHS Wilson Medical Center or UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Johnson City or Binghamton, NY. Requires a Master's degree, ASHA certification, and NYS license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA)
- Clinical Fellowship year candidate
- NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CPR certification within first 3 months of employment
- Previous clinical experience
- Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
- Certification Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
