Job Summary
Conduct speech therapy services for Pre-K, School Age, and Head Start students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), utilizing individual, group, push-in, and pull-out models. Verify signed prescriptions and document all sessions, coding, and progress reports in the EasyTrac Database System while maintaining compliance with CPT and ICD standards. Collaborate regularly with teachers, providers, and parents to support a multidisciplinary approach, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and timely submission of documentation. Maintain current licensure, certifications, and malpractice insurance through ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Experience working with children presenting a wide range of communication disorders
- New York State License in Speech Pathology (mandatory)
- NYC Department of Education Teaching Certificate (TSHH/TSSLD) (mandatory)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Desired Qualifications
- NYSDOH Non-Billing Medicaid Provider status a plus
