Job Summary
Provide assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or developmental disabilities. Employ comprehensive Speech Pathology skills to maintain or augment oral motor and communicative functions within an interdisciplinary team. Build a strong network by communicating effectively with clients, families, community agencies, and service providers. Maintain active membership in the Regulatory body of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists in Ontario or CASLPO eligibility. Work Monday through Friday with possible Saturday support, utilizing virtual capabilities where needed and traveling across York and Toronto for community placements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized School of Speech Language Pathology
- Active membership in good standing with the Regulatory body of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists in Ontario or CASLPO eligible
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must have some knowledge of AAC
- Open to travelling in the York and Toronto area for some community work
- Willing to do some virtual work for SBRS
