Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist working in a school setting; responsible for screening, testing, diagnosing, and advising on speech-language needs; develops and implements individual education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and district staff; plans and delivers therapy to Medicaid-eligible students; maintains therapy notes and Medicaid billing, and ensures compliance with ASHA standards and district regulations. Requires ability to supervise ASHA-certified professionals or fellows if applicable, and strong documentation to support program services and outcomes; emphasizes collaboration with educational staff and families, and ongoing professional growth in speech pathology services.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
