Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist role combining 0.4 FTE with the Neuromotor Team and 0.4 FTE with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Team to work with children up to age 19 with neuromotor disorders (e.g., cerebral palsy) and with acquired brain injury rehabilitation needs. Provides consultation, evaluation, assessment, intervention, and counseling to clients and families, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to inform integrated care plans, uses standardized tests and outcome measures, and participates in quality improvement activities. Partners with CDAs and engages families in goal setting, documenting in accordance with professional guidelines, and contributes to education for clients, families, colleagues, students, and the community. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and current CASLPO registration; pediatric clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
