Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop individualized Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders while participating in clinical conferences to coordinate care plans. Deliver one-on-one private treatment sessions with a functional-based approach to residents. Maintain a desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
