Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop individualized Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders within a coordinated team, participating in clinical conferences to coordinate patient care plans. Deliver one-on-one private treatment sessions employing a functional-based approach to ensure personalized attention for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
