Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and implement individualized Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders and participate in clinical conferences to coordinate patient care plans. Deliver one-on-one private treatment sessions with a functional-based approach to residents. Maintain active employment with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per month. This role offers a desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC- SLP)
- Minimum commitment of 8 hours per month to maintain active employment
