Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidenced-based techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop individualized programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders while participating in clinical conferences to coordinate care plans. Deliver one-on-one private sessions with a functional approach to ensure personalized attention for each resident.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
