Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals, develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluations, and provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders. Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate patient care plans and conduct one-on-one private treatment sessions with a functional-based approach. Enjoy a desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. This role is part of Legacy Healthcare Services, a not-for-profit organization leading on-site senior therapy care across nearly 500 communities in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
