Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop individualized Speech Pathology programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team, treating residents one-on-one with a functional-based approach. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans. This role offers a desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. We are a not-for-profit organization founded by therapists, serving nearly 500 senior living communities across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
