Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidenced-based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop individualized Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations. Provide rehabilitative services to residents under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team, including one-on-one private sessions with a functional-based approach. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans. This role features a desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements. Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
