Speech Language Pathologist

Conduct medically prescribed speech therapy screenings, evaluations, and direct treatment for pediatric patients in home health settings, while directing caregivers in selected tasks to reinforce performance. Perform assessments of receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, vocal competence, articulation, and auditory skills, and coordinate care with office staff and other disciplines. Maintain communication regarding progress and home programs, refer patients to appropriate resources, and consult with physicians on patient progress. Manage caseloads, maintain supplies, and participate in Quality Assurance, mentoring, and continuing education activities. Serve as backup for other caseloads as needed.
