Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluate pediatric patients for receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, vocal competence, and articulation. Conduct screenings, direct treatment, and train caregivers on home programs. Coordinate care with physicians and office staff while maintaining accurate records and managing supplies. Refer clients to additional resources as needed and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Maintain an adequate caseload, serve as backup for other providers, and mentor students and new hires. Requires a Master's degree, current state licensure, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
