Job Summary
Evaluate, conduct, and organize medically prescribed speech therapy for pediatric patients in home health settings. Provide clinical treatment including screenings, evaluations of receptive and expressive language skills, fluency, and articulation, while directing patients and caregivers in tasks to reinforce performance. Coordinate care with office staff and physicians, maintain records, and refer families to appropriate resources. Manage supplies, participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, and mentor students. Maintain adequate caseloads while serving as a backup provider for other caseloads as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
