Job Summary

Evaluate pediatric patients for receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, vocal competence, articulation, and auditory skills. Conduct screenings, direct treatment, and train caregivers to reinforce performance. Coordinate care with office staff, physicians, and other disciplines while maintaining records and referring patients to external resources. Manage caseloads, ensure supply maintenance, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Attend continuing education and mentor new hires. Serve as backup for other caseloads as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state-issued professional licensure
  • Valid state driver license
  • CPR certified
  • Ability to read and write in simple correspondence
  • Effective public speaking in small groups
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret instruction
  • Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Pediatric clinical experience preferred
  • Home health experience preferred
