Job Summary
Evaluate pediatric patients for speech, language, fluency, and motor skills to conduct medically prescribed therapy in home settings. Direct patients and caregivers through screenings, direct treatment, and family training programs while coordinating care with physicians and office staff. Maintain accurate records, manage caseloads, and refer families to additional resources as needed. Participate in quality assurance, mentoring, and continuing education while adhering to company policies. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
