Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist sought to provide one-on-one SLP services to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in Kenner, LA, with autonomy to manage schedules and incorporate telehealth as appropriate. Responsibilities include evaluations, developing plans of care, delivering evidence-based treatment, documenting in FOX’s EMR, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, educating patients and caregivers, promoting safety and aging in place, and providing telehealth/virtual care when suitable. Requires a valid SLP license in-state (or eligibility), ability to meet physical demands of in-home/community care, and access to in-home/community care settings. Opportunities exist across in-home and senior living settings with potential telehealth components and a clinician-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
- Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- Current CPR certification
- Exerting medium physical effort and in-home/community care duties as described
