Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for approximately 45 students to identify communication challenges. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based techniques and collaborate with teachers and parents to implement support strategies. Monitor student progress regularly, adjust therapy approaches, and educate families on development milestones. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and compliance records per school policy. Work with a blended caseload of K-6th grade students from August 18, 2026, through June 15, 2027, at a partner school in Newark, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate credentials for school settings
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with school-based programs
- Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) development
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration
