Job Summary
Assess speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing limitations using objective evaluation techniques. Prescribe and implement treatment programs to return patients to maximum functional levels. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes while promoting improvements in service and hospital systems. Operate within the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator, Clinical Specialist, and Rehab Therapy Services Team Leader. Requires a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, Maryland licensure, ASHA certification, and current CPR certification. Full-time 40-hour schedule at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited academic program
- Licensure from State of Maryland
- ASHA certification
- Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification
- Completion of Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship
- Experience in Hospital acute care setting
- Full-time 40 hours per week
