Job Summary
Conduct speech-language evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals. Provide individual and small-group therapy services for articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions while collaborating with teachers, families, and special education staff to support communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with federal and state regulations. Recommend classroom accommodations and evidence-based intervention strategies to promote academic and social success.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel endorsement
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
Desired Qualifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience
