Speech Language Pathologist (Interim Service Provider)

Job Summary
Provides speech-language services including assessment, therapy, and instruction for students with speech-language disabilities; serves on IEP/IFSP teams; collaborates with school personnel; may be 10 or 12 months; travels across the county to provide services in home, community, and school-based settings; leads teaching assistants; develops lesson plans and instructional materials; conducts evaluations and progress reporting; ensures compliance with regulations and billing requirements; requires active licensure, CCC-SLP, NPI, and Maryland Medicaid enrollment; Master’s degree required; CF/SLP experience; 10% travel; driving required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in related field of education
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) and/or Speech Language Pathology experience
- Hold or be eligible for Speech and Language Pathologist License issued by Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, Speech-Language Pathologists & Music Therapists
- Hold or be eligible for Speech Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA
- Within 10 days, obtain National Provider Identifier (NPI) issued by CMS NPPES
- Hold or be eligible for Driver's License (DL) Class C Non-Commercial
- Daily access to reliable transportation
- Actively enrolled in Maryland Medicaid; enrollment required upon NPI
- Approved/Established Title Code: D31663 (PATHOLOGIST: SPEECH LANGUAGE)
- Reports to: Manager, Speech Language Services
- 10 days travel requirement: 10% within the county
