Speech Language Pathologist (Interim Position)

Job Summary
Coordinate speech, language, and voice fluency services for K-12 students by screening, testing, and evaluating needs to determine appropriate placement. Conduct IEP meetings, schedule parent consultations, and develop individualized educational programs based on student strengths. Maintain current records of the speech-language program, prepare required reports, and utilize ECATS, Medicaid, and Student Information Systems. Work cooperatively with school personnel to coordinate objectives for the local education agency while adhering to statewide testing procedures. This full-time interim position requires NC Board of Examiners certification and operates without additional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Certification by the NC Board of Examiners and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Knowledge of appropriate screening instruments
- Ability to select appropriate assessments based on individual student needs
- Knowledge of ECATS, Medicaid billing and Student Information Systems
- Ability to project and maintain a schedule
- Demonstrates knowledge and use of statewide testing procedures
- Develops appropriate IEPs based on students' strengths and needs
