Speech Language Pathologist (Interim Position)

Job Summary
Coordinate speech, language, and voice fluency services for K-12 students by screening, testing, and evaluating needs to determine appropriate placements. Conduct IEP meetings, schedule parent consultations, and maintain current records using ECATS, Medicaid, and student information systems. Develop individualized educational programs based on student strengths while collaborating with school personnel to meet local education agency goals. This full-time interim position requires NC Board and ASHA certification, operates on the NC State Salary Schedule, and includes no additional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a Certification by the NC Board of Examiners and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Knowledge of appropriate screening instruments
- Ability to select appropriate assessments based on individual student needs
- Knowledge of ECATS, Medicaid billing and Student Information Systems
- Ability to project and maintain a schedule
- Demonstrates knowledge and use of statewide testing procedures
- Develops appropriate IEPs based on students' strengths and needs
