Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Perform specific assessments, review historical information, and document results while explaining findings to patients and families. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete discharge planning and follow-up care while accurately documenting patient care activities, progress summaries, and baseline goals. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility to ensure frictionless patient access. Serve as a clinical instructor to assign students and assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
